Friends of Kirkbymoorside CP School - Parent Teacher Association
The Parent-Teacher Association at Kirkbymoorside Community School - known locally as the "Friends of KMS School" - is currently a small group of parents with big ideas!
We run fund-raising events throughout the year to engage with the wider community and enable pupils at the School to access a range of social activities.
The money that we raise is used to:
| Subsidise school trips. |
| Pay the transport costs for swimming lessons for children in Years 3 & 4. |
| Buy outdoor play equipment. |
| Fund new technology. |
| Support the provision of music in School. |
With the support of local businesses and grants from the Co-op; Kirkbymoorside Youth Education Trust; and Kirkbymoorside Town Council, we have been able to develop outdoor learning spaces and support the development of the arts in School.
We welcome volunteers to help us to prepare for events and make things happen! Everyone is welcome - whether you're a parent, carer or grandparent we need your support to ensure that the children can access the widest possible range of activities.
